Experience Summary
I am a retired Police Officer having worked for the East Orange, New Jersey police Department for 27 years. My assignment at my retirement was detective bureau commander.
As a working officer, I enrolled into college and obtained three college degrees and a teaching certification. My degrees and certification are listed with this application.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is essentially one of motivation and entertainment. It is my contention that a motivating teacher has to be somewhat of an entertainer to ensure he or she has the undivided attention of students. I have been so successful with this teaching approach that I have been cited by "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" on four occasions for teaching excellence.
I am also able to inspire students by telling them of my life's story; one in which I started out in life as a high school drop out and was able through hard work to get back on a track of objective endeavor.
