Experience Summary
During my last two years of college, I was able to gain a lot of experience teaching and tutoring. As I was studying abroad and learning Spanish, I decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics with Spanish and ESL minors. I have held jobs teaching a variety of age groups and class sizes. I have also tutored students from many different countries around the world in both English and Spanish. I am confident that I can help any student be successful.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and especially working one on one with students to really give them the help they need. I am very patient, encouraging and uplifting and will always build my students up and motivate them. I am able to relate well to others and develop relationships of trust. I believe that the best teaching method is not to just give the students the answers, but rather to teach them to figure them out themselves so they will be able to learn on their own. I strive to give the students the confidence they need to be successful.
