Experience Summary
I was a member of the Honors program at Valencia Community College, and graduated with my Associates (AA) as a Pre-Major in Elementary Education. I was hired as a Substitute Teacher for Orange County Public Schools in 2007, where I substituted for absent teachers and paraprofessionals in the Orange County Public Schools district. As a Substitute teacher, I taught children individually, as well as in group settings with varying exceptionalities. I also have taught children piano lessons, and french horn lessons in after-school programs.
Teaching Style
I absolutely love helping children obtain their goals education-wise. I understand that every child is unique, and have unique learning styles; some children learn best visually, others are auditory learners. I am patient, understanding, and will cater to the needs of each individual child I tutor.
