Experience Summary
I have two degrees, in Library and Information Technology.I have experience tutoring children ages k-10, for both Marion County Schools and Department of Juvenile Justice. I also worked as a Instructional Paraprofessional in 1993-94, An ESE instructional Paraprofessional in 2010 and a GED reading Instructor. I am currently working as a Title 1 instructional Paraprofessional for the Marion County School Board. My additional experience includes employment as a tutor for the Marion County school system in 2008, and I am currently employed tutoring elementary students after school on an in-home basis, grades 1-5.
Teaching Style
I love to work with children and instill in them a joy of reading and a desire to learn. I am a firm believer in literacy being the key to success in other areas for children. I am a patient and understanding instructor who develops my lessons according to the needs of the students on an individual basis.My goal is to provide the best supportive environment possible in order to ensure that the child is reaching the maximum potential they can. I strive to make a positive impact in the lives of all children.
