Experience Summary
I love working with numbers and figuring out solutions to challenging problems. Earning my degree in Computer Science has allowed me to do both of these as well as provide me with extensive knowledge about computers. It has allowed me to enhance my skills in both math and science. Since high school I have tutored students in basic math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra, Pre-calc and Calculus, Geometry. Chemistry, and other non-mathematical related subjects. I also have a solid background in Latin and French as I have studied both throughout my high school career and minored in French language in college.
Teaching Style
For as long as I can remember I have always loved to teach. I enjoy helping others learn new material as well as gain from them ways to cope with different learning styles and comprehension levels. I have experience with all age groups from 6-7 yrs to 18+ yrs. I exercise patience and understanding as I have learned that everyone's learning style is unique. I am an easy person to work with and I believe that one can learn anything with the right amount of care and dedication -- two main qualities that I strive to provide to each student.
