Experience Summary
As an Ivy League graduate, I have always excelled in scholarship and academics. After graduating 4th in my class from St. John’s High School, I then attended Bates College where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in both English and Biology. After my second year of college, I was accepted as an early admission candidate at Dartmouth Medical School based on my outstanding academic achievement. I then completed residency training at Yale University and subsequently a Master of Intellectual Property degree at Franklin Pierce Law Center. I have tutored students at all levels in biology, biochemistry, anatomy, microbiology, organic chemistry, calculus, essay writing, writing research papers, and English composition and grammar.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with students at all levels and helping them achieve academic success. As a tutor, I am organized, resourceful, patient, and considerate of different learning styles. I encourage students to be creative and ask questions if they don’t understand something. I understand that students are faced with a number of time constraints and want tutoring sessions to be time-effective, flexible, and productive. Whether it be a single homework assignment, a review for a mid-term or final exam, or a longer-term strategy to attain a future career goal or admission to an academic institution, I look forward to working with you to achieve your academic goals.
