Experience Summary
In the past 7 years I have had the opportunity through tutoring to help students from kindergarten through college exceed in math at various levels. Earning a BA in Mandarin Chinese has helped me to really learn what it means to work hard and a variety of other skills. I have not only learned how to better learn and teach second languages, but also have developed great skills in analytical reading and technical writing.
Teaching Style
I have had a variety of jobs in my work experience, but my passion is for tutoring and teaching. The greatest reward is to see a student succeed who previously thought it wasn't possible. I am patient, down-to-earth, and kind. I evaluate where the student is at and look for anyway possible to help. I take pride in finding a method that fits because I know that each student learns differently from their peers. I tutor because I love to help people.
