Experience Summary
After I left my career in a major bank, I decided that I need to follow my passion of teaching. I started my MA degree in Economics and I used to teach undergraduates and help them with the assignments, projects, and understanding the material. It was volunteering work and I loved it. Then I started taking coursed towards my PHD. Things slowed down a little and I had to stop my program and put all my courses towards another MA. During that time, I taught continuously, all year round. I taught up to four classes in one semester. I love seeing my students finishing their degrees and updating me with their lives and future plans.
Teaching Style
Teaching students based on their backgrounds and abilities. Understanding their situations and work around them in the best manner possible. I started my MA degree in Economics and I started teaching introductory courses of economics for five where I used to live in Michigan. I love Michigan and its cold weather as I have all the collage memories.
During my teaching experience, I got a chance to teach one class online. It was really fun and convenient. All my students had their careers and they were all serious about the course and they really wanted to learn beyond the textbook material. I learned a lot from them as well and really enjoyed their discussions.
