Teaching Style
I personally believe all children have the ability to be taught how to learn using a variety of methods from whole language to modified versions of other methods such as phonics for Reading instruction. Many children with different learning styles also have the need to use creativity as well as a wide-variety of various multi-sensory approaches. Along with reading comes writing, hand-in-hand writing needs to be integrated for various audiences as well as purposes which can and will be applicable in everyday settings. Aspects that I have found to help students the most when coming to numeracy is to explain how the lesson being implemented relates to everyday life.
