Experience Summary
I have taught secondary math in the public school setting for several years, community college courses since 2006, as well as tutored students of all backgrounds, age, and abilities in mathematics of all kinds, from prealgebra to calculus and statistics. I work well with students, finding out their background and history of their learning experience.
Teaching Style
I am an interactive teacher, helping students discover a process or algorithm with some topics. With other topics, I enjoy introducing students to software such as Geometer's Sketchpad. Tutoring is an individualistic endeavor,and I fit my teaching to the student's learning style.
