Experience Summary
As a newbie in the education field, I am very determined and interested in making a positive difference in the lives of my students. I believe Reading and literacy are very important to be successful in everything we try to do. During the past two years I have been teaching at a low income, high risk, private charter school. This year eight of my students made the honor roll or received a most improved award.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with all types of children and with all types of learning styles. I know all children are capable of learning, mastery, and success. I am patient, considerate, caring, respectful, and reliable. I believe in meeting the child where they are and helping them to achieve above and beyond where they began. I also believe in providing appropriate learning activities and surroundings for my students. I aim to be not only one of the good educators but an effective educator.
