Experience Summary
I am a credentialed teacher with a Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an English Learner Authorization. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. The curriculum was focused on preparing students for entrance into a teaching credential program. I have worked as a substitute teacher in grades kindergarten through sixth and with multiple elementary grade levels teaching English Language Learners, language arts, and math as a Literacy Support Teacher.
Teaching Style
I love working with children and seeing them succeed in personal and educational settings. I believe learning should be fun and that students should enjoy it. I work with a student-centered approach with high expectations. Scholars should understand the underlying concepts of the overall material. I make the curriculum relevant. In addition, I support my instruction by instilling three values within my students: lifelong learning, critical thinking, and respectful and responsible citizens. I strongly believe all children can succeed and, with the right approach and attitude, can reach their goals, both academically and socially.
