Experience Summary
I have always loved and excelled at mathematics and I enjoy sharing my passion with others. I began tutoring my fellow students in high school and when I entered college I began tutoring in Seattle University's Math Lab, a free, walk-in service on campus. I have worked privately with students at all levels and especially enjoy the experience of one-on-one learning.
Teaching Style
I am often frustrated by many school teacher's lack of enthusiasm and understanding for mathematics. Contrary to many, I do not believe math should be simply memorization and calculations. There is beauty in understanding and this is what I strive to impart on the students I work with.
