Experience Summary
I graduated the City University of New York-Brooklyn College campus in February 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Educat ion/K-6 grade teaching skills. I have also raised two daughters, one graduating from Fordham University magna cum laude and completing her Master's Degree in Social Work from Hunter College summa cum laude. My youngest child, recently graduated with honors from Boston College where she had a full scholarship for the entire 4 years. Although my employment experience does not reflect direct teaching skills, I have used my teaching skills in order to perform my position successfully
Teaching Style
My teaching style is geared more towards each individual child. Some are auditory learners, some learn just by watching and still others require tactile stimulation in order to learn. I generally use a combination of all three focusing on the one that is strongest for each individual child. I believe with patience and understanding all children can and will learn. I have had wondeful teachers myself and strive to pattern myself after them to make a significant difference in each child's life. I look fondly back at those teachers because they have molded me to the person I am today.
