Experience Summary
As a bilingual professional, I am confident in my ability in teaching. As my experience will demonstrate, I have a passion to educate young minds and help them become well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. The love of teaching and learning lead me to complete my Master's Degree in Teaching in Elementary Education. Throughout the course of my lifetime commitment to teaching, I have had wonderful opportunities to teach diverse groups of students, including those with learning disabilities, and those who performed at or above grade level. My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I utilize many teaching styles as one style is not universal or may not fit all teachers. Anchored Instruction learning allows students to experience real world dilemmas while using critical thinking to problem solve their situation. Another teaching style and my favorite is Cooperative Learning which involves students in collaborative or team-based tasks such as group problem solving, and paper writing, projects. Cooperative learning is relevant for any discipline. C L is valuable for promoting collaborative effort, reasoning and critical thinking among our students.
