Experience Summary
I have over fifteen years of classroom experience in elementary education, primarily in kindergarten. I have a current Florida certificate for Primary and Elementary Education. I am certified to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I was the kindergarten team leader at Freedom 7 Elementary School of International Studies the number two rated elementary school in Florida. I have 60 hours of ESOL training. For the past two years I have substitute taught at various elementary schools around Brevard county. I have also tutored students in reading and math.
Teaching Style
I am a higly experienced elementary education professional dedicated to providing quality learning at an appropriate developmental level through stimulating and challenging techniques. I believe that "hands on" teaching is a very effective way to teach students. My focus has always been on developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities. I have a passion for teaching and it is easily demonstrated in the classroom among the students.
