Experience Summary
I have a variety of experience in multiple disciplines within natural science and am currently a Geology MSc candidate at the University of New Brunswick and will be defending my thesis in Summer of 2010. For the past two years I have had a large exposure to both field and lab work surrounding Fe-Mn Deposits and worked as a teaching assistant.
Since November of 2008, I have authored five published abstracts and extended abstracts for both Canadian and American conferences and served as a technical program editor for the International Applied Geochemistry Symposium in 2009. I am also currently working on two full length publications on stratigraphy and geochemistry of my MSc. project.
Teaching Style
For the past two years I have worked as a teaching assistant for the University of New Brunswick within the duration of my MSc. in Geology. I have taught and aided students within the lab sections of Introduction to Geology, Biogeology, Sedimentology, and 2nd year Field School. I am a firm believer in the value of a good education and encourage students to learn everything they can about a subject.
