Experience Summary
I have had teaching experience with clients with exceptional needs from pre-school age to adult. I have worked in pre-schools, public schools, and a residential facility in a classroom, one on one and or group settings. I have a BS in Special Education and a MS in Counseling and have also worked as a Special Education Conultant. I have experience preparing Grant information and developing Individual Educational Plans.
Teaching Style
I knew that I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. I love working with children and enjoy helping them to learn and feel better about themselves and about learning in general. Since I have experience in teaching Special Education, I am used to working with clients that need extra assistance. I love to make learning fun for a child and enjoy the challenge of each individual student. I am very patient, professional and considerate and understanding of each student's needs. I am focused on each child and finding the best way to help them to learn the most. A good teacher can make a huge difference in a child's attitude and success in school and in life.
