Experience Summary
I have always been a very driven individual – in education, sports and music. In school, I always strived to make the highest grades and would do whatever it took to excel in all of my classes. As a runner, I continue to give one hundred percent every single day in my workouts. As a college musician, I was dedicated to perfecting my playing so that I could give flawless recitals. I have always had a work hard attitude. I enjoy working with children of all ages and helping them succeed in reaching their goals. Whether their goal is to make an A on a paper or pass a math test, I find great joy in helping them! I have earned a bachelors degree in music education and have experience tutoring students in English, Writing and Math.
Teaching Style
I absolutely love teaching and working with children of all ages. I believe that every child learns differently and it is my job, as a teacher, to help each child find the way that works best for them. Academics can be tedious, difficult and even uninteresting to many students, but I believe that there are many ways to make learning fun! I am very patient, dependable, hard working, and creative. I believe in teaching to the individual – whether through repetition of examples, life applicable examples, and/or self discovery. I believe that all children can learn and excel if given the right support. I believe that teachers can make a huge impact on a child’s life and I strive to make a positive difference in all of my students’ lives.
