Experience Summary
I have been substitute teaching for the past two years in a wide variety of subjects which include reading, language arts, math, and science to supplement my income as a contract social worker doing therapy in two nursing homes in Hernando County Florida two days a week. I prefer the older children to work with which include middle to high school students. I am comfortable dealing with people from all walks of life.
Teaching Style
I have a patient task oriented teaching style to help prepare children not only for their school work but for various tasks they will face when they have to go out in the work world. I am patient but firm when it comes to discipline and keeping children on task regarding their school work. I have a wide variety of experience dealing with people in a wide variety of settings.
