Experience Summary
I am a technical and business oriented individual, having an MS in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Finance. I worked my way through school, having started at a community college. My last position, Program Director, was at that same community college, Monroe Community College, in Rochester, NY. With my education and work experience, I am well versed in several areas of science, business and math. During the last 5 years as Program Director, I created and delivered SAT review courses for high school students and vocational construction courses for incarcerated high school students in the Rochester City School District. In addition, I have excellent grammatical and presentation skills and am well versed with the Microsoft Suite of software.
Teaching Style
I encourage students to be well versed in the basics; reading, writing and arithmetic. I am also a believer in making sure students take as many college ready courses as possible. The full math and science venue are of utmost importance. At the community college, I acted in an advisory capacity, one-on-one, to the high school students that I dealt with.
