Experience Summary
First, I have a genuine passion to inspire children to reach their full learning potential. Secondly, I would like to lead by example, continuing my own desire to be a life learner and thereby, encouraging our students to also feel the zest for knowledge. I believe knowledge promotes ones self-esteem and in return fosters higher growth and development. I am a calm, creative, confident teacher who encourages questions, engages in active listening and possesses a flexible teaching style that meets the needs of the individual. Lastly, I would like to be a positive and memorable influence on a young person’s quest for learning. As a result I am able to give back to the community that has provided me with my own foundation in life.
Teaching Style
My past experience living and teaching in Cairo, Egypt demonstrates both my personal and professional commitment to student achievement while at the same time overcoming language and cultural barriers. I believe this was accomplished by creating an environment where every child was respected and challenged to do their very best in a fun and relaxed manner. Throughout my working experience, I have realized that building strong relationships with all people is my key to success. I hope to be a role model who will inspire and help students achieve their academic goals.
