Experience Summary
Throughout my undergraduate years, I knew that educating youth was something I was very passionate about so I made sure to not ignore my passion. I completed a minor in Education including such courses as: Classroom Reading, Evaluation and Measurement in Education, Core Classroom Management Strategies, Intro to Special Education, and Young Adolescence. Also, I have had several hands-on experiences including, an opportunity to tutor students one-on-one at an elementary school, and to serve as a classroom assistant at both an elementary and middle school.
Teaching Style
I am a very attentive person who reaches children where they are with respect to learning. I prefer to differentiate instruction based on a child's learning style, comprehension level, and prior knowledge. I am a very positive, motivational person who gives lots of positive reinforcements during the learning process.
