Experience Summary
I have three degrees in the social sciences, Psych.(BA), Public Administration (US gov't) and finally, in International Relations. I have had the opportunity to teach in all three feilds - Critical Thinking(which draws from Psychology), US History, which draws on public administration, and Comparative Gov't (which draws on IR). I research and have publications in all three fields - and am currently researching public policy in the feild of environmental studies.
Teaching Style
I have had wonderful experiences teaching students of all ages and I think one of the best ways to reach students is to teach them individually. Usually, this is a luxury that one cannot afford in a classroom. As such tutoring will allow to focus on the individual needs, learning styles, and talents of the particular student I am teaching and help them draft, short, medium and long-term goals, and work toward achieving all three.
