Experience Summary
As an HBCU graduate, I understand the need in education of the grade students within my Alma Mater's community. I have one degree, BS in psychology, with strong science and math background as a previous pharmacy major. I have taken precalculus and calculus in college and basic math courses in high school where I've received A's and B's. I have also tutored college students for math section of the GRE. During the past five years, I have tutored elementary,and middle school students in math. These subjects include geometry, and algebra . I have been taking spanish and french since middle school through college. I have taken english 101 and 102 in college.
Teaching Style
I am a teacher who loves to understand the student and work with where they are before getting them where they need to be. I have proven to myself and others to be patient, optomistic, and trustworthy. My approach to learning is strategic. All teachers should have a plan and follow through with it. I enjoy instructing and guiding, academically. Tutoring, mentoring, and teaching all go together and I have been blessed to be experienced in all three.
