Experience Summary
I worked for a year as an in-home and school aid for a 6-year-old boy with autism, teaching him social and hygiene skills, as well as verbal, sign, and written language. I also worked as a therapist for a year for adolescent males with developmental disabilities and emotional impairment. Further, I have experience as a caregiver for patients with brain and spinal chord injuries in a rehabilitation center.
Teaching Style
I love to teach while taking into account each child's individual learning style. I focus on strengthening weak areas of ability and making seemingly complex material simple and easy-to-understand. I also enjoy creating learning activities for children of all ages and all levels of abilities.
