Experience Summary
I am currently an instructor in the College of Education at the University of North Florida. My current responsibilities include teaching and supervising students who are completing student-teacher internships. Prior to my work at the university, I was employed as an elementary school teacher with Duval County Public Schools. I have also had the opportunity to conduct a variety of workshops and trainings in conjunction with the Professional Development Department of Duval County Public Schools.
Teaching Style
I find great joy in teaching and learning! I have taught 4th and 5th graders as well as college students, and have worked as a tutor/volunteer with a variety of organizations. My enthusiasm has allowed me to be named "UNF Student's Choice Professor" and also a member of "Faculty Friends". My classroom consists of a warm atmosphere, consistency, and genuine concern for all students.
