Experience Summary
As a graduate of Lynn University, I am very much driven to help students excel in Academics. I work for a grant funded program called, Upward Bound which I work and mentor high school students in the pursuit of going to to post-secondary education. I mentor students in financial aid, homework assistance, essay, reference letters, procedures how to get into college..I have also tutored students in reading, science, math, English, psychology.
Teaching Style
I believe all students can learn if they put their mind into it and have someone supporting them in their efforts. I like to mentor/tutor outside the box, by being creative in my approach, for example: showing them math by painting and measuring, or baking..It helps the student realize that education is everywhere in life..It is not something that is only used in a classroom.
