Experience Summary
I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. I achieved a grade point average of 3.95 in accounting and finance and 3.65 in economics. During my tenure at UMass I was actively involved in helping underclass students as a tutor in the accounting, finance and economics departments. I am a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and have worked in the accounting field in various positions for over fifteen years.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. During my college days I was actively involved in tutoring accounting, finance and economics to other students and found this to be a very rewarding experience. The most satisfying part of this was when the students would approach me after taking an exam and tell me how much my tutoring had helped them understand the material and how confident they felt. I believe that all children have the ability to learn in differing ways and I adapt my teaching style to best suit their individual needs. I believe that a solid education can make a big difference in an individual’s life and strive to deliver that.
