Experience Summary
I have worked for an after school program for the past five years. In this position I was able to tutor students and help them with their homework. The experience I have is with students in grades kindergarten through 4th grade. I did my student teaching in a preschool and a 2nd grade classroom. In the after school program and the student teaching experience I helped students with all school subjects including english, math, science, social studies and reading.
Teaching Style
I pride myself on helping students have fun while learning. I believe that if a student is not enjoying themselves they will not learn. As a teacher I use a hands-on approach to give the students a realistic approach to learning. All students can learn and as a teacher I feel it is my job to bring the best out of any child. I love children and I long to make a difference in each ones lives.
