Experience Summary
As a graduate of the University of Alabama, I have had several experiences within the classroom. Throughout my student teaching, I have worked with grades K, 2, 3, and 5. After graduating, I began substituting for all elementary grade levels. My substituting experiences led to a maternity leave position in a third grade classroom.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I have learned that not only can I teach the children, but they can teach me how to help them better understand. Each child has a different way of learning and it is my job to help them develop the skills that they need in order to process the information. Teaching is also about forming a trusting relationship with your students and letting them know that I am here to help them.
