Experience Summary
As a college graduate with two degrees in business and working on a graduate business degree, I have found myself useful to many students at the college and high school levels. I have tutored many business subjects at the college level and math and language subjects at the high school level. I have a passion for learning and an equal passion to help others learn. In all the instances that I have tutored and all the students I have observed an increase in performance. I am glad to have been able to help students and the community.
Teaching Style
I love to see the glimmer in students' eyes when they understand information and make the necessary connections. My first priority is to encourage students in obtaining the self-confidence for mastery. I believe that all some students need is a few successes to make a drastic difference in their performance. I teach students to view information in a new light, with new understandings, that is comfortable for them and that they can recall. I am patient, considerate, and challenging. I do not settle for anything less than the student's best and will allow them time to develop it.
