Experience Summary
I've provided tutoring for low-income students on a month-to-month basis around the Albuquerque area.
My substitute teaching experience with Rio Rancho district has offered many opportunities for growth as a teacher in many different grade levels and settings. I have provided teaching support at one pre-school, six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school with coverage in most state-required subjects.
I've also provided teaching support for eight charter schools around Albuquerque involving 'at-risk' children and youth, grades K-12.
I have one class remaining towards New Mexico Teacher Certification in Elementary Education.
Teaching Style
I provide a rich, diverse, and creative set of skills and tools (for auditory, visual, and tactile/kinesthetic learners) to assist students, ages five to ten, in their reading, writing, math and social studies subjects.
