Experience Summary
While attending Columbus State University, I volunteered by tutoring 2nd through 6th graders at the local Columbus Community Center. During which I also maintained a 3.00 GPA and graduated with a B.A. in Finance. While in college I found math to be my best subject and the area seemed to come to me as though it was second hand nature.
In college, my degree required classes such as college algebra, statistics, quanitative analyze, intermediate accounting and financial analyze. I recently graduated on May 10th 2010 and enjoy reviewing what I have learned and I find tutoring as a appropriate method of choice.
Teaching Style
Since I've been tutoring, I have a saying that you already know what you know, so let's not worry about what you know but worry about what you don't know. I believe that everybody can relate to any subject if they can relate the subject to something the individual finds interesting. I am very patient and determined in not only helping a student find the answer but also wanting the student to know the method of finding the answer and being able to find the answer on their own in the future.
