Experience Summary
Ever since childhood I have felt confident in my ability to help others understand the mathematical concepts that confuse them. I scored 100% on most tests and quizzes in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Four years ago I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I began tutoring students attending Pine Crest, Cardinal Gibbons, Westminster, and Fort Lauderdale High. My students have a high success rate, one of them going as far as to receive recognition as "Most Improved Student" at the Cardinal Gibbons Awards Ceremony in 2010. I have a Florida Department of Education's Mathematics 6-12 teaching certificate, and am comfortable tutoring K-12 as well as college age students.
Teaching Style
My teaching style varies from student to student. I plan lessons that most effectively fit into my student's time schedule and preferred method of study. I am very patient, communicative, relaxed, and dedicated to helping others enjoy, appreciate, and master mathematics.
