Experience Summary
My background is not in teaching but accounting. I have educated many non-accounting professionals to understand the financial information provided by accounting systems and have trained just as many to enter accounting transactions into systems. It is important to understand finances as this knowledge will not only educate them on how to handle their own but enhance their skills within any business.
Teaching Style
Knowledge is power! You need to know and understand the audience you are teaching; not everyone learns at the same pace. I am very hands on with accounting systems and software. I believe that it is very important to understand how each transaction effects the balance sheet and income statement.
