Experience Summary
I am a recent gradtuate of Middle Tennessee State University where I majored in Chemistry with a minor in secondary education. I have recently filed to obtain my license to teach chemistry. My degree in Chemistry required me to take 17 hours in math, thus improving my understanding of the subject. I have also written many papers as well as written laboratory reports and even spoke at an Americal Chemical Society meeting. During the last year I have tutored students in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I have also tutored a few people in Algebra and Trigonometry.
Teaching Style
I know that all students learn differently. I try to cater my teaching to fit the individual student. I know what may work with one student will not work with another student. I am patient, conciderate and caring. I want my students to gain some knowledge of the subject they are having trouble with. I think the main thing that I would want a student to gain is knowledge and understanding, also that there are people out there that can help them to accomplish their goals. I also hope that I can be one of the people to help them accomplish these goals.
