Experience Summary
I am a recent college graduate with a lifelong passion for education. I have a BS in Business, and am currently enrolled in a Master's of education program. I love to learn and to teach. I have been a college teachers assistant, and a tutor for 8 years. My major is in the field of business, and my long term interest is mathematics. I was also the captain of my high schools math team, and on the math team in college. I have tutored students extensively in the areas of business and math. I have experience with students of many ages and backgrounds, including special needs and learning disabled students.
Teaching Style
I love teaching, and I believe that everyone can learn when given the chance. I understand that students sometimes need concepts explained in new and different ways to really understand them, and I am patient, flexible, and resourceful when educating others.My experiences have taught me to motivate and empower the people around me, a quality that I consistently bring to my educational experiences. I believe that everyone can be successful if given the opportunity.
