Experience Summary
While attending the University of Pittsburgh I was able to experience my fielf studies and a year student teaching oppportunity at New England Elementary (West Mifflin PA). After school I was instructional assistant at McKeesport School District. This year I was a substitute teacher for Norwin, Penn-Trafford, Yough, and McKeesport School District.
Teaching Style
I always believe that the student can learn just as much from, or even more from, each other. Not just from the teacher alone. Allowing students to share their own personal experiences, knowledge, interest, goals, and opinions in the classroom in a wonderful way for students to learn and grow, as well as for me. I have already experienced this from my field studies, student teaching, tutoring, instructional assisting, and volunteer work. I will strive to make my classroom fun, yet structured. I will exemplify my enthusiasm and love for teaching and learning with all subjects and activities.
