Experience Summary
Teaching to me is a vocation and not just a job. I enjoy helping children achieve their peek potential in the subject matter at hand. My teaching experience is mostly in private school settings and I taught public school for a year. I am currently waiting to be certified in Spanish in Virginia and will be taking the courses necessary to become a certified teacher in the near future. I have taught 6 grade to High School level Spanish, English and Social Studies and Middle School Math.
Teaching Style
Interactive as well as practical
1st I teach the grammatical aspect
2nd put to practice the lesson by a) doing practical exercises and b) interactive (students will repeat pronounciations with me and then practice with each other in groups or with partners)I will go to each group and listen to them and make corrections if need be
3rd I will instruct a student individually during the practical exercises or group sessions when I feel a student is not capturing an aspect of a lesson (understanding, pronounciation or grammatical)
