Experience Summary
I have owned a master of science degree in mechanical engineering which involving in lots advanced mathmatics and physics. As a senior engineer I have extensive experiences in applying math, physics and engineering knowledge to analyze, design and development of real world products in various projects.
Moreover, as a MBA graduate, I am good at communication which enables me to reach rapport with my students.
I have worked as a teaching assistant to lecture labs for undergraduate students in Florida Institute of Technology.
I aslo volunteered to teach high school students in math and physics, as well as middle-school-teaching students in college math.
Teaching Style
My philosophy for teaching math is to use a variety of methods that scaffold and develop students’ higher-order thinking skills. I view math not only a theoretic but also a practical and useful science that can be applied to real world as a means for reasoning and critical thinking and problem solving.
My goal as a math tutor is to equip students with basic knowledge and to enlighten their own logical thinking that enable them to effectively solve problems that seem beyond their capabilities by skillfully finding inner linkage (between math theories) and applying to outer linkage (real world).
