Experience Summary
I have taught as a tutor in High School, and college.
I also taught in the adult education system of Fairborn, Ohio.
I have acted as a group home monitor for MR/DD adults.
I am presently tutoring a young adult in cost control and algebra.
Teaching Style
I tailor my teaching style to the student.
I first evaluate where the student is by building rapport, discussing the problem he/she is having, talking to the teacher, and talking to the parents.
I then begin focusing on the area where the student is having difficulties. It may be that the student requires help with homework as well as review of fundamentals. I address both areas, always encouraging the student.
