Experience Summary
I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in both Physics and Applied Mathematics. I have been tutoring and teaching students for over two years in mathematics and science. This experience includes being a leading mathematics and sole physics tutor at my university, working as a science camp counselor, and substituting at a local branch of a nationwide learning center. I have worked with students from the age of 7 to adult.
Teaching Style
I love sharing my passion for mathematics and science with students of all ages. My goal for every student is to understand the concept behind the problem, not just how to solve it. I am patient and try to connect the concepts to student’s everyday life and/or previous knowledge to facilitate understanding. I work hard to figure out how my students learn best and use that knowledge to help them achieve success.
