Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate of the University of South Florida with two degrees in Mathematics and Statistics and two minors in Business and Music. I began tutoring my junior year of college and worked with college students in all levels of math, statistics, and business. I have tutored high school students in the classroom through the AVID program as well as in an online classroom setting. These experiences covered all high school level mathematics classes. I have participated in several training programs in inquiry based learning. I am extremely knowledgeable and experienced in tutoring all levels of Mathematics.
Teaching Style
I am extremely passionate about Mathematics education. I believe that Math can be fun and accessible to every student. My goal is to help students to understand why the answer is true because this is the only way they can comprehend the concepts to carry them forward. I use an inquiry based approach combined with thorough explanations and example problems.
