Experience Summary
I have 10 years experience with Morongo unified School district as a substitute teacher, a student teacher, and now a home teacher. I have spent 7 years as a home teacher--all grade levels--all major subjects. I work with students that are expelled or suspended or have a mediacl condition that prevents them from attending public school within the district. I am the very best at what I do and can work with students few others can or will work with.I am very well versed in all major subjects even though my teaching credential is social science.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient teacher and meet students on their level, speak and relate to them with respect and love---and teach them according to their needs and skill levels. If a student is difficult to work with, I will not hesitate to steer off the subject path for a few minutes to discuss something that interests them--this gains their respect and creates a bond with the student--then I steer us back to the subject at hand. I am a very flexible home-teacher and I meet students exactly where they are at in terms of learning styles, intelligence, patience. etc.
