Experience Summary
As a college graduate, I understand the demands of school and what it takes to succeed at a high level. I have earned one bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and am now in graduate school to pursue further education. I am currently a teacher for the El Rancho Unified School District, which has allowed me to experience a wide range of students and understand how to teach students according to how each one learns. In addition, I have privately tutored in-home for the past 7 years. I have tutored in almost every subject including Math up through Algebra 2, English, Science, History, Spanish, as well as standardized tests such as the SAT, PSAT, ISEE, CBEST, GED, and GRE.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with student of all ages, elementary students to college students. Each grade level is unique in their learning styles and abilities, so I cater to the specific student I am teaching. No two students are alike; so each student needs to be taught in a way that they themselves will learn. I find that self-motivated learning and discovery is the best way that any student will gain success; they key is finding that motivating factor and using it to help the student.
