Experience Summary
As a Harvard graduate with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Public Policy, I understand the rigors of excelling in education, and it is my hope to help others achieve this. My major in college allowed me to take a broad array of courses, ranging from the hard sciences and mathematics, to government and public policy courses. Moreover, I have spent much time writing papers and essays for English courses, math courses, and science course. In high school I tutored various mathematics course on a regular basis.
Teaching Style
I very much enjoy working with children of all ages, as I have done so throughout my life as a swimming instructor and through volunteering. In the classroom, I will strive to make your child a better student and understand the concepts we are covering. I believe the best way to learn is to first understand the idea we are covering, then use examples and repetition to further understand how the concept is applied and functions in real life examples and problems. I am very patient with children of all ages, and I am good at communicating with them. Coming from a strong education, I understand what it takes to succeed and I look forward to helping children do the same.
