Experience Summary
I graduated from Plymouth State University in 2008 with my B.S. in Health Education. My option was Wellness Management which has a business component but in obtaining the degree I was required to do some teaching as well. (Not formally, more presentations to my peers and community education. I do not have a teacher certification.) I am a Certified Health Education Specialist which is a certification on top of my degree. I did some mentoring while I lived in Dover, NH and greatly enjoyed my time spent working with youth. Currently I work at a Federally Qualified Health Center. There I do community education as well as marketing.
Teaching Style
I really enjoy working with people. Everyone has a different learning style and I believe in catering my approach to the person. I have a talent at taking complicated material and condensing it in a way that makes sense. If you can make something click in someone's head and make it interesting then you will succeed in educating them.
