Experience Summary
As a multicultural person, I am very much driven to achieve success and satisfy my hunger of learning beyond localism to the point of exploring the world. I have earned an AA in Translation, a BA in Spanish (minor in French), and I am doing an extra BA in Translation & Interpreting as well as a MAIS in Spanish & Translation Studies. In addition, I have experience on studying abroad and freelancing. Also, I have done research of subjects surrounding the Middle East. During the last four years I have tutored students in Spanish, French, and certain Translation and Interpreting courses.
Teaching Style
As a matter of fact, every student has a different way of learning. In order to be acquainted with every student, I try to get to know them first and balance my approachments, so that they can understand my lesson. In addition, I try to make them feel confident enough in order to ask me questions anytime they feel they need so, since [unfortunately] many students feel intimidated or timid for asking so.
