Experience Summary
I have worked with students from elementary to high school. From grammar, phonics, & phonemic awareness all the way to vocaublary and comprehension I consider myself highly qualified to ignite a burning sensation to learn. My passion is seeing students excel beyond what they can even imagine. Also, I desire to see every student learn to read. Reading is the building foundation to almost every educational task presented to our children. With time,dedication, & resilience all students are able to achieve at their own individual learning level.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with students and seeing the smiles on their faces when that light bulb comes on. We all have it. Sometimes it takes to know that the person teaching you really cares to see you learn. I consider myself to be patient but firm. I like for my students to know that anything worth having has to be worked for or earned. Education is the same way. Every student is different so as an educator, I have learned to adapt to the individual's learning need. Some learn by seeing, while others hearing, maybe even hands on demonstrations. No matter the task, when finished, my students will walk away feeling as if they've reached that pinnacle mark. I consider the smallest gain a great accomplishment.
